1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
12 slices sandwich bread
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup in a small saucepan; cover over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Place 6 slices bread on top of syrup mixture. Top again with the remaining 6 slices of bread. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and salt in bowl; whip until blended. Pour over bread. Refrigerate covered for 8 hours.
Preheat oven to 350. Bake, uncovered, for 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Serve immediately.
