2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 t. vanilla
4 c. flour
5 c. oatmeal
1 t. salt
2 t. baking soda
2 t. soda
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 - 8 oz. Hershey© bar, grated
3 c. chopped nuts

Measure oatmeal, put small amounts in blender and blend to fine powder. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Mix into creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips, nuts and Hershey bar. Make golf ball size. Bake on ungreased pan 6 minutes at 375º. Makes at least 9 dozen.

Cookie are soft in middle when taken out of the oven. Can be frozen in airtight container.
