4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
6 tablespoons white sugar
lemon, juiced
5 tablespoons butter, cold
1 cup white sugar
1 cup of milk
tsp all purpose flour
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted
tsp cinnamon
1 cup all purpose flour

Directions:

Lightly grease 8 inch square baking dish. Place blueberries into baking dish and mix into them vanilla and lemon juice. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp flour.. Mix flour, baking powder and the 6 tablespoons of suger in bowl. Rub the 5 tblsp of butter into the dry mix with your fingers until incorporated into flour mixture. Make a well in the dough and add the milk. Stir quickly until just moist. Let dough rest for 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spoon batter over berries leaving a few small holes for berries to peek through. Mix the last of the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top. Bake 20-25 minutes until the whole top is golden brown. You can check the topping with a toothpick- it should come out clean. Serve warm. Great with vanilla ice cream!

We use fresh blueberries picked here on Footsteps Farm. You can use frozen, just make sure they are thawed and not too wet.
