1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 4-oz. container of cool whip
8 or 9-inch graham cracker crust
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in sugar. Blend in sour cream and vanilla. Fold in cool whip until thoroughly blended. Spoon into crust. Chill 4 hours. Top with 1 can cherry pie filling.

This pie was the local grand prize winner at the Frederick County Fair. It is a cheese cake-like cake that is made frequently among the women of the church.
