1 1/2 c. sugar
2 squares unsweetened chocolate (melted)
1/2 c. margarine
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 12-oz. can or bottle Coca-Cola

Icing of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, chocolate, and margarine. Add the eggs. Sift flour with baking soda. Add alternately with Coca-Cola. Pour batter in 2 8-inch round greased pans or 1 9" x 13" greased pan.

Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

A lot of the men of the congregation of St. Paul's Burkittsville work for the Coca-Cola Co. locally. The women of the church support their husbands by making this cake and bringing it to the pot luck dinners at the church.
