4 Pounds Pork Back Ribs or Spareribs (Have them Cut up the middle in half to make small finger foods)
2 ½ Quarts Boiling Water
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Crushed Ginger
1 Tablespoon Crushed Garlic
½ Cup Cider Vinegar
1 ½ Teaspoons Pickling Spice
2 Teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Sauce:
1 Quart Catsup
1 Pound Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Molasses
¼ Teaspoon Ground Cloves
¼ Cup Soy Sauce
¼ Cup Cider Vinegar
¾ Cup Crushed Pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water, salt, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, vinegar, pickling spice, and Worcestershire sauce in large pot; bring to boil. Add ribs and cook until tender, about 45 minutes. Remove ribs and cool to room temperature, then refrigerate 2 to 3 hours. Cut ribs into serving portions. Place in Large pans and ladle enough Polynesian Spareribs Sauce (See below) to cover. Cover pans with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer to brown.Combine Catsup and brown sugar in mixer bowl; mix on low speed. Add molasses, ground clove, soy sauce, and vinegar. Blend for 10 minutes. Add pineapple.
