CRUST:
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour

TOPPING:
1 1/2 c.dried apricots (chopped) cooked
in 1 c. water. Drained and cooled

4 Well beaten eggs
2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 or more c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp.salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Walnuts chopped

CRUST mixture: Mix until crumbly and pack in a heavily greased 10 x 15 x 1 in. pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min. or light brown. Remove from oven and set aside.




More of topping mixture:
Mix eggs , brown sugar -sift together flour,
baking powder and salt. Stir together. Blend vanilla. Add nuts and the apricots. Spread over crust and bake 30 min. at 350 degrees. Cool completely. Cut into 1 1/2 in. squares. Roll in powdered sugar.
