1/2 c. water
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 T. yellow mustard
1 T. onion powder
1 T. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

Combine ingredients in saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally. Simmer for 20 minutes until sauce is thin but not watery. Store in refrigerator; is best to allow to sit overnight for flavors to mingle.
