6 To 8 lb. Brisket
4 tbsp. Liquid Smoke©
Meat Tenderizer
1 tsp. Celery Salt
1 tsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Garlic Salt
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Onion Salt
4 tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 bottle Barbecue Sauce

Day 1: Sprinkle meat tenderizer freely over both side of brisket. Rub liquid smoke all over brisket. Wrap in heavy foil and refrigerate over night. Day 2:
Mix all spices and sprinkle over brisket. Wrap tightly with foil. Bake 1 hour at 300º. Loosen foil and reduce heat to 200º. Bake for 5 to 6 hours. Cool and refrigerate . Day 3: Slice thin. Place sliced meat in rectangle Pyrex dish. Using 1 cup brisket drippings mix with bottled barbecue sauce that has been heated; pour over meat. Cover with foil and heat at low temperature until warm. Serves 16.
