4 c. firm white bread cubed (I use whole-wheat)
1 to 2 cups fresh asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. crumbled bacon or cubed ham
6 large eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 t. salt
8 oz sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl toss together bread cubes, asparagus and 1 cup of cheese. In a small bowl beat together eggs, milk, sour cream and salt. Add to bread mixture and stir to combine. Pour into a greased 9 by 12 baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until golden.
