Personal Notes:
When Uncle Frank and Aunt Pat invited our family to Sandbridge to their beach home, Aunt Pat prepared a similar recipe for us. What I remember most was that she used coffee in the BBQ sauce. A few years later, completely relying on my fond memory of that visit, I tried to recreate the recipe and feel that this is pretty close to what she had. I am happy to share it with you! The coffee gives it such an excellent zing to it. You also might want to consider brushing a bit of beer on it - since I remember Dad and Uncle Frank doing just that when they grilled it. By the way, this happened in the early 70's!!!
