Poor Man’s Black Forest Cake
Ingredients.
1 Box Duncan Heinz Dark Chocolate Cake Mix
1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
1/2 Bag of Miniture Marshmellows
1 Tub Cool Whip
Follow your cake box recipe. to ready for oven
Cover 1 layer of marsh mellows on bottom of 9x13 pan.
Pour your prepared cake mix evenly over marsh mellows.
Open and pour Cherry Pie filling over the above.
Bake at 350f for 50-60 mins
Test with tooth pick in centre to see if cooked.
Allow cake to cool
Cover with Cool Whip and Enjoy.
The marsh mellows will rise and the pie filling will sink to the bottom of cake mixture.
Some times I add shaved chocolate to top off
Cool Whip.
