1/2 cup Crisco, 1 1/4 cups sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 3 cups sifted flour, 2 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 3/4 tsp salt, 1 cup walnuts-diced, 3 cups bananas-very, very ripe(almost black).

Mix together Crisco, sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking soda and powder, salt. Add flour and bananas. Flour the nuts and add. Bake at 375 for 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean.
