Chocolate Sheet Cake Recipe

2 C. flour
2 C. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda

1/2 C. oil
1 C. water
4 tbs cocoa (rounded)
1 stick margarine

1/2 C. Buttermilk or sour milk
2 eggs

1 C. sugar
1/2 C. evaporated milk
2 tbs White Karo Syrup
1/2 stick margarine
1 C. chocolate chips

Mix dry ingredients. Boil the oil, water, cocoa and margarine until cocoa is disolved. Pour over the dry ingredients. Mix up and add the butermilk, eggs and vanilla.

Bake at 400 for about 30 minutes in 13 x 9" pan.

For the icing, boil the sugar, evaporated milk, karo and margarine for 2 minutes. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. Pour over hot cake.
