Meat sauce:
3 lbs. hamburger
1/2 lb. sausage
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 tbsp. oregano
1 package spaghetti seasoning
2 large cans tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Cheese mixture:
2 large containers cottage cheese
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
10 lasagna noodles (do not use precooked)
Mozzarella cheese

Meat sauce: Brown hamburger and sausage. Add seasonings mixed with tomato sauce.
Cheese mixture: Mix the next 6 ingredients for the cheese mixture together.
Lasagna noodles: Cook until tender.
In a 9 x 13 baking dish, layer noodles, cheese sauce and meat sauce (2 layers). Bake at 325-350 for approximately 45-60 minutes. About 15 minutes before removing from oven sprinkle a thick layer of Mozzarella cheese on top.
