2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 cloves garlic, pressed
1/4 cup red wine vinegar (I use balsamic vinegar)
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup walnuts
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. coarse ground pepper
1/2 sliced red onion
8 oz. mixed baby greens, or baby spinach, or combo
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 lb. Feta cheese, crumbled

DRESSING: Combine 2 tsp. sugar, pepper, garlic, vinegar, oregano, and salt.
WALNUTS: In a fry pan, melt butter and 1/2 cup sugar together. Melt sugar with butter. Add walnuts and saute 5 minutes. Add coarse ground pepper and toss.
ASSEMBLE SALAD: break greens into a large bowl with cheese, cranberries, and onions. Pour over dressing. Add walnuts.
