1 (14 oz.) package caramels
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 Pillsbury German Chocolate Cake mix
3/4 cup butter or margarine (melted)
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup chopped nuts
1 12oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in heavy sauce pan caramels and milk. Cook over low heat,stirring constantly until caramels are melted. Keep warm and set aside.Combine in large bowl all remaining ingredients, EXCEPT chocolate chips. By hand stir until dough holds together. Press 1/2 of dough into a 9"x13" inch greased and floured pan. Reserve remaining dough for topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 min. Put chocolate chips over baked crust. Spread caramel over all. Crumble remaining dough evenly over that. Bake 15-20 minutes more.
