3/4 C. Unsalted Butter, softened
1 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
Pinch salt
3 1/2 C. Sifted unbleached flour
Fleur de sel (Sea Salt)

Directions:
Directions:
Put butter in bowl of electric mixer and beat till smooth. Gradually add sugar. Beat till creamy and light. Add vanilla and pinch of salt. With mixer on low add flour and beat till just blended. Chill dough till just firm enough to form into logs 1 1/2" in diameter. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate till firm. Heat oven to 350. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice dough 1/4" thick. Sprinkle with FEW grains of fleur de sel (don't overdo it). Press gently into place. Bake for about 10 minutes or till light color around edges. Remove and cool on racks. Enjoy!
