1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Mix softened butter, shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar & eggs. Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda & salt in a separate bowl. Blend the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Shape the dough into 1 to 2 in. balls. Mix 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll each ball of dough in this mixture & place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Check at 8 minutes.
