Ingredients:
Short Ribs
Salt

Garlic Powder
Celery Salt
Onion
Beef Bouillon Cubes
Homemade Noodles
or Mary B's Dumplings (frozen food section)

Directions:
Directions:
Put ribs in large pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and celery salt. Chop one medium onion into pan. Cover with water. Simmer 2 to 3 hours (until meat is falling off bone). Remove ribs and separate meat from fat and bone. Skim grease from top of broth. Add 2 to 3 beef bouillon cubes. Bring broth to a rapid boil. Add noodles or dumplings one at a time, so it continues to boil. Cook until tender. Add meat and heat through.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Per Susan: I added grated garlic cloves and a can of beef broth to the water when boiling ribs, then you do not need to add as much bouillon later. Also note that sauce should thicken naturally from the flour on the dumplings but if you want it thicker - mix spoon of corn starch in a little cold water and add to broth after dumplings are done. Serve with mashed potatoes.
