1 1/2 c. butter (3 sticks)
1 Box Confectioner's sugar
6 eggs
Fill Confectioner's sugar box with sifted all purpose flour
(Be sure to sift flour 2-3 times)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon or lemon flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time; beat until light and fluffy.
Add sifted flour a little at a time.
Add the vanilla and lemon flavoring. Stir well and pour into a lightly greased/floured bundt pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.

This is my Grandmother Broome's recipe. This family recipe has always been a favorite. She always made one when we went to visit. My Aunt Ruby Broome Read shared it with me. I love the measurement for the flour.....the Confectioner's Sugar Box!!
