1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 c. chopped onions (divide)
5 Tbsp. instant beef bouillon (divide)
8 c. water parsley,oregano
2 cans tomatoes (16 oz.) (to taste)
3 potatoes - diced 1 1/2 tsp. thyme
5 carrots - diced 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 cup celery, diced 1 bay leaf
2 cups cabbage, shred 1/2 tsp. basil
1 green pepper -chopped
1 can garbanzo beans (16 oz.)
1/2 cup uncooked spaghetti, broken

In a large bowl, combine beef, 1 c. onion and 2T. bouillon, mix well. Shape into 1/2 " balls. Brown balls in 6 qt. dutch oven. Remove. Pour off drippings reserving 2 T. Cook remaining onion in drippings til tender. Add meatballs, water, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, celery, remaining bouillon, thyme, bay leaf, basil and pepper. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 1 hour. Add cabbage, beans, spaghetti, parsley and green pepper. Cook 15 min. or until spaghetti is tender. Serve with Romano Cheese.

Make this recipe easier by skipping the meatballs. Just brown the ground beef and follow the directions after browned. OR you can buy the pre-made meatballs if you want to CHEAT!
