1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins or currants
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Prepare muffin cups by greasing the bottoms of 12 cups thickly with butter or margarine. Sprinkle with brown sugar to make a fairly thick layer. Sprinkle a few chopped nuts and currants or raisins into each cup.

Roll the "Rich Scone" dough into a 10x10 inch square. Using a flexible spatula, spread the measured amount of butter or margarine on the dough.

Mix the brown sugar, raisins or currants, and nuts together and spread over the dough. Roll the dough as for a jelly roll. Slice into 12 rounds. Put one in each cup.

Bake in oven for 12-15 minutes at 450F.

Glaze when cool with 1/2 cup of icing sugar mixed with just enough water to make a thin glaze.
