Pastry for two 9" pie crusts
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 cups cherries
1 1/4 cup sugar
3 1/2 tablespoons flour
3/8 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon almond flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and stone cherries. Mix the flour, sugar, salt, cornstarch. Add the cherries and coat cherries evenly. Turn into pie shell. Add flavouring. Cover with a top crust. Cut a few vents in the top. Crimp edges. Bake at 450F for 10 minutes. Continue baking for about 25 to 35 minutes.
