2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Knead the flour into the butter; then knead the sugar into the flour/butter mixture. Press firmly into well greased 8" square pan. Bake for 40 to 45 mins. Cut into 36 squares while still hot. Return to oven for a few minutes to dry out edges. Let cool in pan on wire rack.
