1 stick of butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add sugar and mix well. Add eggs one at a time, mix; add flour and salt, mix well; mix in buttermilk and vanilla.

Pour into a deep dish 9" unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 300 for 60 minutes or until golden brown and firm in the middle.
