4 c. sweet potatoes, cooked & mashed (I use canned)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 t. salt
1/3 stick butter or margarine
1 t. vanilla

Topping
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredient and mix until smooth. Pour in a greased 9" square baking dish.

Topping
Mix next four ingredient in a small bowl, sprinkle over sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350 for 40 to 50 minutes.

This could not be easier. I have found the cooking time can very depending on the moisture in the potatoes. I make sure the center is getting firm before I remove it from the oven.
