2 T. butter
3T. flour
2 c. milk
1/8 tsp.salt and paprika to taste
nutmeg to taste
1 lb. American Cheddar cheese
French bread, cubed

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter in fondue pot. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk and salt very slowly, stirring continuously so that lumps do not form. Add paprika and nutmeg. Cook 3 to 4 minutes over low flame. Add cheese, making sure it melts before adding more. Serve with cubed french bread, crust on at least one side of the cube.
