1c. white sugar, 1/2c. shortening, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. soda, 3 tbsp, milk, 3 lg. or 4 sm. mashed bananas, 2 c. flour, 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour bread pans and preheat oven to 350.
Mix ingredients well and pour into pans. Bread is done when a toothpick, inserted into middle of bread, comes out clean. Approx. 30 min.
