3 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb. pork sausage fried and drained (or chopped ham)
6 oz. chopped chives or green pepper
2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese (1/2 lb.)
Bread, crusts removed
8 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9x13" greased pan with bread. Spread on top of bread in order: cheddar cheese, sausage, chives, Monterey Jack cheese. Beat together: eggs and milk. Add rest of ingredients and pour this mixture over the ingredients in the pan. Chill overnight. Bake at 325 for 50 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Cut into squares.
