2 quart water
1 quart vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup salt
Bring to boiling point.
Pack in jars:
green cucumbers, one hot pepper, sprig of dill and 1 clove of garlic and onion.

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling liquid over packed cucumbers and seal. Put jars in hot boiling bath water and process until pickles turn yellowish. Set out and cool. Wait 3 weeks before eating.
You can add 1/4 teaspoon Alum for crispness.
