2 lbs ground beef
1 lb. sausage
1 small onion-chopped
1 green bell pepper-chopped
4-slices of bread-cubed
3/4 cup milk 2 eggs
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
3 T. worchesrshire sauce
3 T. liquid smoke
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix thoroughly the ground beef and sausage.
Add onions and green pepper. Soak bread cubes in milk, add slightly beaten eggs. Add spices to bread/milk mixture as well as worchestshire sauce, liquid smoke and the dry onion soup mix. Use a mixer to blend the bread cubes/milk/egg mixture to break it down to a fine soupy mixture. Then add to meat and sausage. Mix well with hands and form into 1 large loaf or 2 smaller-size loaves, 1/2 can be frozen for a later time as well.
Cook for 1 hr. 15 min., then drain grease and back into pan. Make" piquant sauce", Pour over meatloaf and cook for 15 min. longer.

Mom has made this recipe since I was knee high, however, over time I have tweaked it a little here and there. So it's all up to the chef how she/he wants to create!
