3/4 C milk
1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C Crisco
1 t salt
1 pkg rapid rise yeast
1/2 C very warm water
4 - 4 1/2 C Flour
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk, take off burner put in bowl and add shortening, sugar and salt. Stir until melted/dissolved.
In another container dissolve yeast in water and add 1 T sugar. Let proof.
In milk bowl add flour 1 cup at a time alternating with eggs, add yeast mixture. Gradually mix in all flour until mix leaves sides of bowl. Knead a few times until smooth, place in a lightly greased bowl and turn until coated. Cover with a few towels and let rise until double. Punch down and pinch off 2 " balls of dough, place on a well buttered 9x13 pan brush dough with more butter. Cover and let rise until double. Bake at 375 for 12-15 min until golden brown. Brush with more melted butter. Enjoy!!
