1 pound lean ground beef
Green onions (optional)
1 cup refried beans
1 package taco seasoning
1 cup sour cream
1 egg
2 to 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Brown beef with onions; drain. Add refried beans, mix well. In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of the shredded cheese, sour cream and egg. Cover bottom of 9x13 inch pan with flattened crescent rolls (do not separate the dough). Top with half of meat mixture followed by half of sauce mixture. Repeat layers. Bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with reserved shredded cheese, bake 5 minutes to melt. Serve with favorite chips and salsa.

This recipe was a favorite when my kids were young, minus onions! Also, you can use less shredded cheese (the recipe really only calls for 2 cups), but I like it cheesy on top! Great with Mexi-Bean Salsa found in Appetizers and Beverages section of this cookbook. Enjoy!
