12 Tablespoons Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt
3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
8-10 Cups Sifted Flour
3 Large Eggs
1 Can Evaporated Milk
4 Tablespoons Milk
4 Teaspoons Dried Orange Peel
2 Tablespoons Dried Lemon Peel
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Stick Butter ( Melted )
Powdered Sugar ( for Glaze )
Milk ( for Glaze )

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat Deep Fryer to 400.
In large bowl combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Is separate mixing bowl combine the following ingredients as follows.
Beat the eggs till foamy.
Add the 4 tablespoons of milk with the can of evaporated milk to the beaten eggs. Mix well.
Add the dried lemon and orange peel to the mixture.
Add the vanilla and mix well.
Melt the stick of butter in microwave.
Pour liquid into the dry ingredients and mix well.
Add the melted butter to mixture and mix again.
Keep adding flour till mixture doesn't stick to your fingers.
Break dough into 2 pieces.
Roll dough to about 1/4 to 1/3 inch thick.
Cut Dough into about 1 inch rows, then cut on 45 angle to form bow ties..
Cut hole in middle to pull ends through.
Should look like a pigs ear.
Deep Fry, rolling to cook on both sides.
Remove from fryer and Drain oil from doughnuts.
Coat with powdered sugar glaze using powdered sugar and milk
Drain in colanders and store in air tight bags or plastic containers.
