Ingredients:  
1 pack yeast
1/4 c lukewarm water
3/4 c milk
1 tsp salt
1/4 c sugar
2 T oil
1/2 egg slightly beaten
2 3/4 c sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Set aside yeast in water. Scald milk; add sugar, salt and shortening. Cool to lukewarm. Add 1 c flour, yeast and beaten egg. Add rest of flour. Mix till dough forms. On a floured surface, knead till satiny then place in greased bowl. Cover and place in refrigerator. When ready to bake, allow dough to come to room temperate. Shape into balls place balls in a pan. Let double in size and bake in a 400 oven from 10 to 25 minutes, depending on size. Butter and let cool.
