Coconut Cream Pie Recipe

1/3 c. flour 2 c. milk
2/3 c. sugar 3 egg yolks (beaten)
1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla


1 c. coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients well. Blend in beaten egg yolks and 1/4 c. milk. Mix well.
Bring 1 3/4 c. milk to scalding point; pour into first mixture, stirring constantly. Cook until thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Stir in 1 c. coconut.
Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue, sprinkle with coconut.
Bake 350 degrees until brown.
