1 Hen (about 4 c. of chicken) cooked (save Stock)
1 package noodles
6 tbsp. Fat
6 tbsp. Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1/2 tsp. Celery Salt
2 1/2 c. Chicken Stock
1 c. heavy Cream
1/4 c. Sherry Wine
16 oz. can Mushrooms
1/3 c. Almonds
3 tbsp. Parsley
1/2 c. grated Cheese (sharp)
Optional: 1 onion, green pepper and 1 tbsp. pimento

Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles in chicken stock. Melt fat, add flour and blend. Add seasoning and 2 c. stock. Cook til thick. Add cream, wine, mushrooms, almonds, and parsley to make a sauce. In a casserole dish alternate layers of noodles, chicken, and sauce. Top with cheese. Bake 20 to 30 minutes in 375 oven. Cheese can be stirred in , too. (To freeze, do not cook until ready to serve. If frozen cook 45 minutes at 300
