Breakfast Cookies Recipe

2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar

4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 T. water

4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

2 c. white chocolate chips
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 c. raisins
3 c. chopped nuts
2 c. old fashioned rolled oats
3 c. orange almond granola, or a good granola and add 3 tsp. grated orange rind.

1. Blend butter & both sugars until creamy.
2. Add eggs, vanilla & water. Beat until well-mixed
3. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt & soda. 4. Stir into the egg & butter mixture and mix until just blended.
5. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
6. Shape into rounds the size of golf balls
7. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 8-10 min. @ 350 (or until just turning brown around the edges.) Best served warm from the oven. Dough keeps refrigerated or frozen. Bake fresh as needed

Originally from Family Circle magazine Nov., 1990, but I got the recipe from Yvette Judice when attending our "Reunion of the Ya-Ya's" in August, 2002. Delicious with morning coffee!
