3/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

2 bunches (1 lb. each) romaine, torn
2 c. (4 oz.) Swiss cheese, shredded
2/3 c. slivered almonds, toasted (opt.)
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
8 bacon strips, cooked & crumbled
1 c. Caesar salad croutons

Directions:
In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine first 5 ingredients; cover and shake well. Chill. In a bowl, toss rest of ingredients except the croutons. Right before serving shake dressing well; pour over salad and top with croutons.
