1 package white cake mix
1 small package strawberry Jello
3 eggs
1/3 cup oil
2/3 cup water
1 10-oz. package frozen sliced strawberries, thawed

Topping:
1/2 of 10-oz. package frozen strawberries
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Using only 1/2 the package of strawberries, mix according to cake directions. Pour into greased 13x9 pan. Bake 40-50 minutes at 325. Spread immediately with topping.

My cake decorating teacher gave me this recipe in 1959. It has been a family favorite ever since. It's my grandson Michael's birthday cake request every year.
