1 c brown sugar
1 c lard
1 c molasses
1 c sour cream
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ginger
Flour to make dough to roll

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and lard. Add molasses, sour cream, soda, and ginger and mix well. Add enough flour to make a rollable dough. Chill dough. Roll out chilled dough and cut into cookies. Bake at 350 until firm.
