Broiled Grapefruit Recipe

6 grapefruit cut in halves
1 t nutmeg
1 ˝ C port or Madeira wine
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Section the grapefruit being careful not to break the sections. Clean out the grapefruit halves so that no “guts” are left. Mix the sections with wine and some of the nutmeg. Marinate for about an hour, stirring occasionally. Replace the sections into the halves add a little of the wine marinade to each half and sprinkle a little nutmeg over each half. Broil until the rind begins to brown
