2 pomegranates or 1 3/4 cups pomegranate seeds
1/4 cup pomegranate juice (100% pomegranate or a blend with another juice)
juice of 1 lime
1/4 cup finely minced red onion
1/4 cup freshly chopped cilantro
1 medium pear, cored and diced

Directions:
Directions:
To get the seeds out of the pomegranate, cut the skin and place it in a large bowl of water. Break it open underneath the water to free the seeds. Pull and break the seeds from the fruit. Strain and place seeds in a mixing bowl. Add pomegranate and lime juice to seeds, toss to evenly coat. Add red onion, cilantro and pear, stir to combine. Sprinkle sugar over and stir to combine.
Serve with tortilla chips.
