I use an oven stuffer chicken {a big one}
5 pieces celery
5 carrots
1 large onion
1 turnip
2 boxes chicken stock
3 quarts water
salt & pepper to taste
1 12 oz can tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
remove insides of chicken and wash chicken. Fill large stock pot with all liquids add chicken and inner parts that you washed. add clean and peeled
whole veggies.bring to boil and then simmer for approx 1 1/2 hrs add tomato sauce salt and pepper cook for another hour or until chicken falls off the bone, Taste and season if necessary
strain soup into a clean pot Remove veggies set 2 carrots aside put the rest of the veggies into a blender with a little liquid and blend. Put that into the clean soup. Shred chicken from the bones and put into the soup slice the two carrots and put them into the soup. Your soup is now ready to serve
