1 T. oil
1 onion (chopped)
1 lb. lean beef OR lamb
2 T. flour
2 T. tomato sauce
3/4 cup liquid beef stock
3 potatoes (cut & boil)
1 T. butter
1 T. finely chopped onion
1/2 cup grated cheese
salt and pepper
Can also add chopped carrots and frozen peas into the beef and broth mixture.

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in large fry pan. Add onions and cook until clear. Add meat and cook until well browned, stir constantly. Add flour, tomato sauce and beef stock and simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside. Cook potatoes, drain and mash. Add butter, onion and 1/2 of the cheese into the potatoes until smooth and creamy. Season with salt & pepper. Set aside. Put meat mixture into greased baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden and heated through. Serves 4.
