Ingredients:  
8oz orzo cooked according to directions; drain but don't rinse. Add a little olive oil and mix in.
2 finely chopped celery ribs; 1/2 bunch green onions, finely chopped; 1(15oz) can Mandarin oranges drained; 3/4 cup sliced almonds with 1/4 cup sugar in pan and brown stirring constantly as not to burn, after cooling, crumble and set aside.
DRESSING:
1/4 cup Crisco oil; 2 Tbsp vinegar; 2 Tbs sugar; 1/2 tsp salt; 1 Tbs parsley flakes; pepper to taste.
Combine above ingredients for dress ing and set aside.
Combine orzo and rest of ingredients and chill.
Add dressing and almond mixture just before serving.
