5 or 6 yellow squash ,
1 stick oleo,
salt and pepper to taste,
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 loaf Velveeta cheese
1/2 lb. fried bacon
1 can Rotel tomatoes -do not drain
1 medium onion,chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pan boil squash in enough water to cover with the salt and pepper and with the chopped onion until onion and squash is tender. Add the crumbled fried bacon and other ingredients and cook slowly till cheese is melted. Be careful cause once the cheese is added it can stick and burn very easily.

This same recipe can be used for potatoes!! It is wonderful potatoe soup!
