Ingredients:  
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 Tsp. almond extract
2 cups flour
2 Tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in the order listed. Batter gets very thick.
Divide batter into two equal parts and press into 2 greased round cake pans.
Bake at 300 F for 30 minutes, then at 350 for another 10 minutes (until light golden brown on top)
