2 T extra virgin olive oil
2 lbs. Beef round steak
1 C chopped onion
1 C chopped green onions
1/2 c chopped bell pepper
1/2 C fresh parsley
12 oz can mushroom steak sauce
1 C dry white wine
2 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 C pimentos
1 t Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp bitters
Louisiana Hot sauce or cayenne pepper to taste
Salt to taste

Heat oil in dutch oven over medium heat. Brown round steal on all sides and set aside. In the oil saute onions, bell peppers, parsley until onions are clear. Stirring add mushroom steak sauce and wine the the garlic and continue cooking for about 10 minutes. Add the pimentos, Worcestershire sauce and bitters. Return the steak to the pan and add salt and the hot sauce to taste. Cover and simmer on low for 2 - 3 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
